“I just don’t think you can capture what I do.”
I’ve heard that from almost every founder I’ve worked with. For years, I said the same thing about myself.
I’m a systems person who builds ops for a living, and I still assumed Valid Point would always have a ceiling - because too much of it is just me, thinking out loud, noticing things.
The thing that makes a specialist agency brilliant isn’t in any process document. It’s the question the founder asks that nobody else thinks to. The thing they notice in a client brief that the rest of the team walks past. It comes out when they’re doing it, not when they’re asked to describe it.
That’s always been true. What’s changed - and I mean in the last few months, not in some theoretical future - is that AI can now actually listen while you’re working. It catches the knowledge in the moment it exists, not in a debrief afterwards when half of it has gone.
I don’t know yet if it fully works. But I’m building it into my own business from the start, and for the first time that ceiling feels a bit less fixed.
If you’ve ever said you can’t be replaced, and half hoped someone would prove you wrong - maybe it’s worth sitting with that again.
